The first part of my life was the Midwest. After growing up in Iowa, I ventured East and graduated from Michigan State University with a BS in Hotel-Restaurant Management. After a stint in the Navy as an Officer (managing an officer's club), I expanded a professional career in the hospitality industry that started in New York, and then, continued to Chicago, Phoenix and finally, California. "Go West, Young Man!"
One of the benefits of working in the hotel and restaurant business is the opportunity to meet a wide variety of people from all walks of life, observe different personalities and analyze distinct emotions.
